Police in Lupane, Matabeleland North province, on Monday stopped a

ZANU thugs burn Down MDC member’s house
The house of Marjorie Chikwasha, an MDC activist in Ward 12 Nyanga South,
Manicaland province was burnt by known Zanu PF mobsters on Tuesday night.
Chikwasha lost three bags of fertiliser, two 50kg bags of maize and kitchen
utensils. She made a report at Nyanga Police Station but no arrests have
been made.
13 activists from Restoration of Human Rights Zimbabwe (ROHR) were arrested up by the police outside the High Court on Wednesday, for protesting against ongoing human rights abuses in the country.
Zimbabwe man charged with insulting Mugabe in joke
Harare court officials on Monday ordered a 52-year-old Zimbabwean
man to stand trial for allegedly telling a work colleague that President
Robert Mugabe’s death was imminent in an apparent joke that misfired.
Zanu(PF) violence escalates
For some time now, the leadership of Zanu (PF) has been at pains to prove to
Zimbabweans and to the Sadc that the MDC-T is the chief perpetrator of

Police in Bubi district in Matabeleland North province arrested
and detained for seven days without charge Sibangani Kesa, an official from
the mainstream MDC party, for distributing the party’s newsletter The
Changing Times.
Zanu PF unleashes violence
President Robert Mugabe’s Zanu PF supporters stormed Parliament in
Harare yesterday, beating MPs and journalists while women traders were
rounded up in Mbare and forced to attend their party meeting, as the
political situation in the country deterioratesfurther.
