I am a proud Zimbabwean who has just moved to Nottingham and I would like to be a member of this Network. Late last year I came across a demonstration in Nottingham high street against forced deportations of Zimbabweans.
The leader of this network went on to give an encouraging speech in response to the Home office’s decision to offer failed asylum seekers to accept the value of their lives as £6000 and risk a return to Zimbabwe.
Please let me know if there will any demonstrations of this sort in Nottingham.

Yesterday we attended the Lancaster House demonstration. This was about was about the Home Office wanting to deport failed asylum seekers. My fellow Zimbabweans this is a serious issue of which i would like to say when we have a demonstration like this we should support and work together in big numbers. Those who were there made a lot of noise and the leaders were fantastic ,they kept us informed all the time while we never stopped singing.
Mugabe and his regime have said they will not work or let another party rule, this was annouced yesterday. This a different war of which i predict more human rights abuses. There will be a constitution and then the elections and no prizes for guessing that Zanu will try tocling to power once again.
Well done to those who made it to London including UK as awhole .
Mugabe must go to save Zimbabwe
